SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School is not school that happens to be on Sundays. Sunday School is the heartbeat of the church. The tasks of the Sunday School is to reach youth for Bible study, teach youth Bible, witness to youth about Christ and leading them into church membership, leading youth to worship, and interpreting the work of the church and the denomination to youth.

SUBMERGED

SUBMERGED is the name for the Wednesday night youth Bible study time. When the youth gather together on Wednesday nights, they will be challenged to SUBMERGED their attention upon Jesus. This is a time and place where youth can come worship the Lord in a non-threatening environment. All youth should be able to feel that they can come to SUBMERGED and be who they are.  SUBMERGED is a place where youth can come during the week and know that they are wanted, loved, and accepted SUBMERGED begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Room above the Fellowship Hall.

THE EXPERIMENT

The Experiment is the Youth Ministry's newest addition.  The Experiment is a bible study that will start up on October 17.  Students will learn what it means to be a Disciple of Christ on a daily basis.  Students will be challenged for a month to take a look at what it takes to be a follower of Christ and to apply what they learn in their daily walk with God.  To sign up, see Sean or Amy!

PRAYER BREAKFAST

Prayer breakfast is every Tuesday morning during the school year at 7:00 a.m. in the chapel of the hospital. The youth volunteer to lead the prayer time and devotional time each week. After the devotional, the youth go to the cafeteria to eat breakfast. Each youth pays for his or her own meal. When everyone is finished eating, the youth go to school. There is a church van that takes the Junior High students to school. However, they will need to get a ride to the hospital. The Senior High students usually drive or ride with a friend.

AFTER CHURCH FELLOWSHIPS

After church fellowships (ACF's) are youth fellowships that occur once a month on a Sunday Night. ACF's are usually in a parents home. The host home will provide the refreshments for the ACF's.  ACF's are a time of prayer, fun, and fellowship.
